Afterword
It has been a year since the first volume of “Another World is Full of Happiness (Templates)” was released. I still feel like I’m dreaming about being a published author. This is Hanechi Yuki. Thanks to all of you, the third volume has made its way onto bookstore shelves, shining brightly. It’s only shining this much because of your support. I am truly, truly grateful.
First, I’d like to start with my usual thanks to my family. To my wonderful wife and my hardworking sons, who are excellent sales people—thanks to your efforts, the second volume was a big hit at our local bookstore. And to my mother-in-law, thank you for reading my fantasy novel, even though it’s not something you’re used to, and for even sharing your thoughts. It was a little embarrassing, but I was genuinely happy.
Can you believe it? It’s been a full year since I became a professional author! I’m honestly shocked. When I first started serializing on Let’s become a Novelist, I dreamed big, thinking, “It would be great if this got published someday! My goal is to make it into the cumulative rankings!” I was mostly hyping myself up, but in the end, not only did it get published, but it also made it into the rankings (though that’s not the case anymore…). And now, the Web version has officially reached its final chapter. That’s right! It has ended! The epilogue is also available, so if you’re curious, head over to the Web version!
Now, let me ride this high-energy momentum to introduce Volume 3! This volume focuses on the academy arc. The Web version, originally 200,000 characters long, was condensed to 160,000, with revisions and additions. The book version also includes a prologue, epilogue, and exclusive bonus content. In the main story, numerous new characters make their debut, and Ryoji is in full-on template mode, giving it his all. Plus, Marco, who ranked number one in the Web version’s popularity poll, evolves dramatically after obtaining a legendary weapon. He even appears in the bonus story, so Marco fans will definitely be thrilled. On top of that, Natasha gives birth to their child, and his fulfilling life begins. Damn, what a winner.
Starting from Volume 3, the protagonist receives his own territory and kicks off his internal affairs cheat (sounds interesting, right?), dives into dungeons for some wild rampages (classic template, right?), and even leaves the kingdom for the empire on a justice-restoring journey (you’re curious now, aren’t you?). It’s template galore! If this piques your interest, send a fan letter right away! Let’s make Editor Luna say, “Hanechi-sensei! The response is overwhelming! Start working on the next one immediately!”
Alright! I’ve said everything I wanted, so I’ll wrap up with some acknowledgments. To the angelic Luna-san, who always accepts my ridiculous requests with a smile. To the godly Miyo.N-san, who brings my characters to life with perfect cover illustrations, even when I provide little detail and just say, “I’ll leave it to you!” (This cover is divine, by the way!).
